Loki Costume Referances

I'm not entirely sure if this is actually allowed....

But basically, since I am doing fem!Loki, I'd like to do normal Loki at some point too.
Once again, I will have to make my own costume, and now I need to decide which version to do.
My favourite is the first one (red stars) from Thor, and the other is the one from The Avengers (blue stars)
The second costume looks like it'd be more difficult fabric and sewing-wise. It has a lot of gold trimming at the edge which, from some pregress shots I've seen from someone else, would be a bitch to do. Also, I simply prefer the first.
The problem with the first would be that although it's pretty simple fabric-wise, it has more armour on the chest and such.
AND IT HAS A FUCKING CAPE :D Which I want xD

So, opinions on which would be the best to make, if you have any tips on how to make any of it that would be brilliant. This doesn't have a deadline, since I don't plan to use it at any upcoming cons since I have a friend who is already Loki.
I was about to use the phrase 'I don't want to steal their thunder' and then realised how ironic that could be xD

The helmet is going to be so fun xD
Not sure if I'd have the sceptre-thingy when doing the first version, wouldn't he have that staff instead? Unsure...

The red star/blue star is a slight lie. The red starred picture in the bottom left is actually his Avengers costume, but I got it for the detail on the helmet and also his shoulder armour for that costume.
